- I am a 38 year old mother of 3. I grew up in the Philly suburbs(where we live now), went across the state to GCC where I graduated with an education degree, and a husband. I spent the next 3 1/2 years teaching elementary school before starting my current job, as SAHM. My eldest daughter, E was born in 2001. She was followed by my son, N in 2004, and then our baby girl, K in 2007. I started blogging on xanga when N was 1, mainly to keep friends and family members updated on the minutia of our lives. I ended up moving to Blogger in 2007. I am not a consistent blogger, but I try to do updates throughout the year.

Craig and I are so sorry for your loss. I'm sure words fail to describe what you are all feeling right now. Your father sounded like a really special man who has left behind a rich legacy of faith and love. You are all in our prayers and thoughts.

I am so sorry that you have lost your dad. But heaven has gained him, and you will see him again someday! This is the first time I have read your blog in a while, so I'm sorry that I was out of the loop with your dad's decline. Your brother's post was absolutely beautiful and heartwarming. Although I didn't know your dad, I know that I would have adored him just from what I read in the post. Daisy, I can't imagine the pain you are experiencing. I will pray for you, your mom, and the rest of your family in the days ahead. May you feel your Father's (BOTH of them) love and treasure your memories. I love you and am thinking of you. xoxo
