Super Baby Food
One of the last items we received from the farm was a humongous squash. I recently cooked it up into baby food for K. Here are pictures of the process.
1. "I can't believe you want me to eat the WHOLE thing!"
2. Steaming on the stove.
3. Puree
4. Into the icecube trays ( 9 trays + 13 babyfood containers= 50 meals)
5. Yum!

Delicious!
Just as Mary is beginning to insist that she only eat what we're eating, I received my baby foods cookbooks from interlibrary loan.
My recommendation is "Blender Baby Food" by Nicole Young. And, I'm a new fan of whole milk ricotta cheese, yum for both of us.
You make baby food look so easy - a great SAHM! :)
That squash is enormous! I am about to venture into the realm of making baby food--only two more weeks until A's six month b-day. Email me any favorite recipies or tips that you can think of if you get a chance! I have been mostly relying on www.wholesomebabyfood.com for my info.
I'm impressed: At the size of that thing and your ability to cut it. How big was the knife? ;)
I agree, you're a great SAHM.
I too love to cook food for the whole family just like you.
